More miseries have hit Harambee Stars’ camp ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Ghana.

Striker Jesse Were and his Zesco United counterpart, David Owino will have to undergo a medical examination to ascertain the extent of the injuries picked in training ahead of the decisive match against the Black Stars on Saturday.

FKF in a statement obtained by Goal confirmed that the Zambian-based duo are set to undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of the injuries on their thighs.

Already, Migne will have to do without the services of captain, Victor Wanyama, who has been ruled out with injury. Also sidelined for the Ghana clash are Ayub Timbe and Brian Mandela, who are both serving suspensions as well as Paul Were, who is also nursing an injury.

Were and Owino were among the 24 players that coach Sebastien Migne will be banking on to beat Ghana, who are topping Group F.

Kenyan lost the opening game to Sierra Leone.
