On the other side of the draw, unbeaten Al-Masry must navigate their way past Algeria's USM if they dream of reaching the semi-final, with CARA Brazzaville trying Raja Club Athletic from Morocco for size.
Also, Group A runners-up AS Vita Club have been drawn against Morocco's RS Berkane.
Usman Abdallah's men travel to the Stade Régional Nyamirambo, Kigali for the first leg billed for September 16 before hosting the return leg seven days later.
Should they qualify on aggregate, they face the winner between CARA Brzzaville and Raja Casablanca for a chance to compete in the two-legged final.
