Benjamin Mendy welcomes Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City

The Algeria international completed a record move to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday to become City’s first signing of the summer

Benjamin Mendy has welcomed new signing Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City.

The 27-year-old signed a five-year deal with the reigning Premier League champions after the club reached a £60 million agreement with Leicester City.

After spending five seasons at the King Power Stadium, Mahrez is set to begin a new adventure with Pep Guardiola's side in the English top-flight.

And Mendy who is a member of France's World Cup team in Russia, revealed his reaction when he got the news that the 2015-16 PFA Player of the Year will play in Manchester next campaign.

"The exact moment when Mahrez decided to sign for Manchester City. Agent Mendy," the defender tweeted with picture of him and the winger.
