The South Africans will be hoping for redemption at the expense of Namibia

Bafana Bafana head coach Stuart Baxter has made three changes to the team that lost to Madagascar for their Plate semi-final clash with Namibia on Tuesday night.

Reyaard Pieterse keeps his place in the starting line-up alongside skipper Siyanda Xulu, Aubrey Modiba and Motjeka Madisha, while Siyabonga Ngezana comes in to complete the back four.

The Kaizer Chiefs centre-back replaces Cape Town City's Taariq Fielies as Baxter looks to give as many players as possible a run now that the gold medal has eluded them.

Wiseman Meyiwa and Gift Links take over from Gift Motupa and Luther Singh respectively.

The Portugal-based striker came underfire for missing goalscoring opportunities, including a penalty in the shoot-out, and it remains to be seen if he will get some minutes in tonight's encounter.

Maritzburg United midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu will again be expected to pull all the right strings in the middle of the park.

His club teammate Fortune Makaringe and Gift Links will complete the midfield, with Maboe and Kaizer Chiefs forward Ryan Moon leading the attack.

Ranked 72nd in the world, Bafana Bafana are expected to stroll to victory against Namibia, who lost their quarter-final clash to Zambia last weekend.

However, given how unpredictable this year's tournament has been thus far.

Bafana Bafana starting XI: Pieterse, Xulu, Madisha, Modiba, Ngezana, Meyiwa, Makaringe, Ndlovu, Maboe, Links and Moon.

Subs: Bvuma, Khubeka, Fielies, Mako, Webber, Mosiatlhaga, Foster and Singh.
