Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent a heartfelt message to Laurent Koscielny who tore his Achilles tendon on Thursday.

The French defender suffered a season-ending injury as Arsene Wenger’s men bowed out of the Uefa Europa League with a 2-1 aggregate loss to Atletico Madrid.

The centre-back went down unchallenged and could only play for 12 minutes before being replaced Calum Chambers.

However, the Gabon international has wished his teammate - who might as well miss the 2018 World Cup in Russia - well.

“Damn it, Koscielny courage brother," Aubameyang tweeted with a shocked and angry emoji.
