Aduana Stars striker Bright Agyei believes they have what it takes to win a second consecutive Ghana Premier League title this season, despite an uninspiring start to the campaign.

The Dormaa Ahenkro-based side are in the drop zone with 14 points after matchday 10 but have four outstanding games following their participation in the Caf Confederation Cup.

"We aren't feeling any pressure as part of our title defence this season. It's just fatigue that has taken a toll on us due to our participation in the Caf Confederation Cup and combining it with the league at the same time,” Agyei told Footballmadeinghana.

“However, now that the Confederation Cup is on hold, we can concentrate on defending our league title successfully and we'll surely achieve this target since we have the quality,” he added.

Agyei also admitted that he hasn't had a perfect start this season after scoring only two goals in the league but believes he can improve.

"I have scored two goals so far but I wish I had scored more than that to help my club. I’m working very hard to improve my shooting so that I can be very effective in front of goal to help Aduana achieve the set target,” he added.
