The ‘Big Cat’ is also struggling to keep up with the league leaders Gor Mahia.

The sacking of coach Robert Matano and the imminent departure of caretaker coach Denis Kitambi has not made it any easier.

The club has also parted ways with two players midfielder Collins Okoth and Ghanaian striker Eric Bekoe and Mule said they will head into the mid-season break with a mend of strengthening the squad.

“Our defense has struggled a bit this season, it is something that we want to rectify. So we will sign one or two center backs to stabilize that department.

"Also we will have to strengthen the striking department; our main aim is to help the team move forward."

AFC Leopards are five places and seven points behind leaders Gor Mahia on 20 points.
