Ghanaian international Eric Bekoe has terminated his contract with Kenyan giants AFC Leopards.
AFC Leopards terminated Bekoe’s contract with 26 months still to run on his two-year contract.
The experienced forward was brought in with intentions of helping the team's striking department, but things have not gone as planned.
Ingwe chairman Dan Mule confirmed to Goal that the two parties decided to take the best available option.
"We have parted ways, but under mutual consent. He (Bekoe) has been with us, but playing time has been hard, meaning he was not really helping the team.
"As a result, we decided to let him go. He will leave next month. That is our agreement.
"We just wish him the best. We cannot retain someone whose output is wanting."
This comes a few weeks after the twelve times league champions decided to let midfielder Collins Okoth leave The Den.
Coach Kitambi is also set to leave the club in two weeks.
