The shot-stopper has penned another three-year contract with the Fire Club to extend his stay in Dormaa Ahenkro to six years

Aduana Stars goalkeeper Addo Joseph has signed a three-year contract extension with the club, which will see him in Dormaa Ahenkro until 2020, the club have confirmed.

The 26-year-old joined Aduana in the 2014-15 season from Asante Kotoko after losing his starting role to former Ghana U20 star Eric Ofori Antwi, who is currently at Medeama.

Addo enjoyed his best moment in the Ghana Premier League in the just-concluded season after making 26 appearances and conceding 18 goals as Aduana lifted their second title.

"It wasn't difficult to agree to the offer from the club because I've come to love everything here," Addo said.

"I've enjoyed the support and patience the supporters offered when results weren't coming as expected. There are more expectations ahead of us especially in the Caf Champions League but I believe in my teammates that we can make Ghanaians happy.

Addo is the second choice goalkeeper of Ghana to Richard Ofori and was part of the Black Satellite squad that won the 2009 Fifa World Youth Championship in Egypt.
