The Fire Club's chief says he is expecting his side to be lethal upfront when the league returns from the break

Aduana Stars chief executive officer Albert Commey has urged his side to be more efficient upfront when the Ghana Premier League returns for the second round after a two-week break.

The Dormaa Ahenkro giants, who are chasing their second title since 2010, sit second on the log with 32 points, two points behind leaders Wafa. They have scored 21 goals and conceded eight after 15 matches.

"We need to have a killer instinct and take our chances against the top sides in the second round of the league to be able to challenge for the title," Commey told Graphic Sports.

"This is not to say that the team must underrate the other clubs, but the courage to take on the best teams in the league will guarantee us the title and I urge the players to be lethal in their finishing," he added.

Tanko Mohammed leads the club's topscorer chart with four goals, one behind Derrick Sasraku. Captain Godfred Saka has also provided five assists so far in the season.

Aduana will welcome regional rivals Bechem United to the Agyeman Badu in matchday 16 on May 28 after both teams shared the spoils 1-1 in the first leg.
