KRA coach decry high cost of hiring new players

Promoted Kenyan Premier League side Kenya Revenue Authority tactician Ken Kenyatta has complained at the high cost of hiring new players.

Kenyatta, who was speaking during a local sports program, laments that the asking prize will make it difficult for new clubs to sign best players ahead of 2014 season. "I have been reading about what clubs are paying to get players and all I can say is that it is too prohibitive and may lock out new teams like ours.”

Kenyatta however, said he is determined to make an impact next season despite their new status. The taxmen made it to top flight football after many years of trying when they won their Division One play-off match against Posta Rangers.

“It feels great to be in top flight league after many years of trying. Now we have to work hard and make an impact which we are determined to do.”
