The arrival of Steve Kean at Brunei DPMM appears to be only the tip of the iceberg for the S.League side, as they look to revamp their side for a title push in 2014.
The former Blackburn Rovers manager has already been confirmed as the new head coach of the club and arrives before the end of November and nine players, including former Everton and Arsenal forward, Francis Jeffers, have been scheduled to trial at the club as well.
Former Irish international Joseph Gamble arrives at the club on November 24, on the same day as Jeffers, with five more arriving the following day.
A number of other former international players are amongst those to trial at DPMM.
Former Jamaican international and MLS veteran Shavar Thomas, former Ghana international Laryea Kingston, former LA Galaxy defender David Junior Lopez and former Kaiserslautern defender Mathias Abel are those in the running for a spot at the Brunei club.
S.League regulations allow for five foreign players to be registered. DPMM have already indicated that only Brazilian Rodrigo Tosi will be retained for next season, leaving four more slots free.
