Official: Palermo sign Massimo Donati from Bari

The former Celtic man has penned a two-and-a-half year deal with the Sicilian outfit and becomes their fifth new arrival of the January transfer window
Palermo announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of midfielder Massimo Donati from Bari for an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old has agreed a contract until June 2014 with Bortolo Mutti's side. Donati has also featured for the likes of Atalanta and Celtic in a much-travelled career, which also saw him loaned out to several clubs, including Torino, Sampdoria, Parma and Messina.

He is now in line to make his debut for Palermo on Sunday against Genoa.

Donati is Palermo's fifth signing of the winter transfer window following the arrivals of Franco Vazquez, Agon Mehmeti, Emiliano Viviano and Carlos Labrin at the Renzo Barbera.
