The much-anticipated fixtures for the Starhub League Cup have been released and fans can look forward to an exciting period of cup football action as they take a break from S.League fixtures.
On June 5, National Football League team Admiralty FC will kick-start their League Cup campaign against neighbours Woodlands Wellington. In the same group and same day, Home United and Harimau Muda will face off at Jalan Besar.
Defending champions Brunei DPMM will begin their title defence against Balestier Khalsa at Toa Payoh Stadium on June 6. The Bruneian team knocked out Home and Warriors FC last year, before defeating Geylang International in the final.
On June 9, an exciting match is expected to occur at Clementi Stadium as Tampines Rovers host Tanjong Pagar United in Group B. Both teams have been in free-scoring form in the S.League and are flying high in the top three of the league table. If they can replicate their S.League form, spectators will be in for an entertaining match.
The quarter-finals will take place on June 15 and June 16, and the winners will then face each other on June 19 and 20.
The finals of both the StarHub League Cup and the Plate competition will take place on June 23.
