Johor Darul Takzim resume training

Johor Darul Takzim have resumed training and Assistant Coach Ismail Ibrahim has confirmed that three players are missing due to Ramadhan, injury and family matters

Assistant Coach of Johor Darul Takzim (JDT), Ismail Ibrahim informed that they have started training without their three main players.

The FA Cup finalists began their training and preparation for the Malaysia Cup campaign without three players namely Leonel Nunez, Andrezinho and Nurul Azwan Roya.

Speaking to Sinar Harian, Ismail said: "We only train during the night.

"Those who are injured are still receiving treatment and Azwan Roya is currently back in Kelantan due to his mother’s health and he has been given a long holiday."

Ismail is currently handling the JDT team while awaits their Head Coach, Fandi Ahmad, who returns this Saturday for their training sessions.

The Southern Tigers, who finished third behind LionsXII and Selangor in the Super League, are on a mission to lift their first trophy this season and they are scheduled to face a club from Singapore before kick off their campaign in Malaysia Cup on the August 20.
