Negeri Sembilan defenders claim that there is more to them than meets the eye, and that they are eager to bounce back when the league resumes next weekendNegeri Sembilan defender Fauzi Nan believes that they are responsible for the team's shambolic league standing, adding that they need to bounce back as soon as possible. The Deers have struggled this season, winless in their first five matches in the Malaysian Super League.
In fact, Negeri have been very decent defensively but it is their attack that has struggled to produce the goals. Nonetheless, Fauzi is still optimistic about a revival.
"All of us are responsible for this form and we are the ones that need to work harder and bring the team out of the relegation zone," he told myMetro.
"But I'm confident that we will bounce back in our next game against ATM. Every one has promised to work harder and fight to restore the pride of this team.
"We have used this break to rest and also, identify our mistakes and improve on certain weaknesses. Now we are raring to go again," Fauzi added.
Divaldo Alves' men have only won once this year - they defeated Premier League strugglers UiTM FC in an FA Cup tie.
