'You never know' - Allardyce remaining coy on Beckham to West Ham rumours

The former England midfielder, who has yet to find a club since leaving LA Galaxy, was spotted in the stands during the Hammers' FA Cup clash with Manchester United on Saturday
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has remained coy on suggestions that free agent David Beckham could be set for a return to the Premier League with the club.

The former England captain ended his five-year stay with LA Galaxy by lifting the MLS Cup in December and has since been mulling over a number of offers.

But, after the 37-year-old was spotted at Upton Park during the Hammers' FA Cup draw with Manchester United on Saturday, Allardyce remained tight-lipped on the chances of sealing a move for the veteran.

“We will wait and see. You never know,” the Englishman told reporters.

Leytonstone-born Beckham is reported to have enrolled his children in school in London since leaving Los Angeles.
