Norfarhan Muhammad has rejoined the ranks of his hometown club Terengganu after several weeks of speculation that would have seen him sign for Johor Darul Takzim.
Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) advisor, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, made the revelation on his Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon, wishing the 28-year-old well in his future endeavours.
Annuar wrote: “Norfarhan initially said that he will not make a move for Johor Darul Takzim but he suddenly signed for Terengganu instead.
“KAFA made an effort to keep him by offering the highest salary possible for a local player but he opted for Terengganu.”
Despite the shocking news, Annuar was also thankful for Norfarhan’s services in a Red Warriors shirt - a total of 134 appearances and netting 41 times in two separate spells with the east coast side.
“We are satisfied with Norfarhan’s efforts and we respect his choice,” Annuar added.
“We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
