Transfer News: Akmal Rizal signs for Sarawak

The Crocs have secured the signing of Akmal Rizal, while Perak have also snapped up two new faces


The Johor Crown Prince has now urged Amirulhadi Zainal to make up his mind as to whether is wants to join the Southern Tigers or remain with Pahang. According to Berita Harian, The ex- Selangor midfielder was apparently keen on joining Johor DT last month, but recent reports have suggested that Amirulhadi could be set to remain with Pahang for next season.


Felda United were reportedly very close in bringing Hairuddin Omar and Irwan Fadzly Idrus over from ATM, but according to Utusan Malaysia, they have been left frustrated after both men decided to remain with their current side.


According to Kosmo, T-Team are very close to appointing Azraai Khor Abdullah as their new head coach. The Terengganu-based side were the first team to contact Azraai after his departure from Perak last month and negotiations have been very positive since then. Azraai himself has admitted that its only a matter of time, before he signs his contract with them.



Perak have secured the signing of two new names; Sharizal Saad as well as Azmer Yusoff. Sharizal has previously played for the national team and was plying his trade with Felda United last season, while Azmer featured for Negeri Sembilan. New head coach, Abu Bakar Fadzim confirmed the arrival of the duo in an interview with PerakNews.


Akmal Rizal Rakhli has officially signed a one-year contract with Sarawak, having been released by Kedah last month. The experienced forward revealed his move over to Sarawak via Twitter and also went on to add that he is looking forward to challenge of helping the Crocs further establish themselves in the Super League next year.
