If the Wanderers are to continue their excellent recent record against Wellington they will need to reverse their recent on the road record with just one draw to show for their last five road trips.
Wellington are undefeated in their last three matches and they are looking to equal an all time best of four matches without loss here tonight.
Wellington have not scored in the first half in their last four meetings at home, conceding five goals at the same time, so their recent record against the Wanderers is not great at all. Mark Rudan will be hoping to change all that.
Whilst Wellington have had the better start to the season the Wanderers have not lost to Wellington in their last 7 meetings, winning five of them.
Wellington have made a good start to the season under new coach Rudan with a win and a draw from their two matches. The Wanderers on the other hand have a draw and a loss to show for their first two appearances this season.
Good evening and welcome to tonight's match between Wellington Phoenix and the Western Sydney Wanderers.
