FULL TIME - SYDNEY 1-0 CENTRAL COAST: The Sky Blues have got the job done through Holosko's first half effort despite a spirited effort from the Mariners. Necevski also saved a second half penalty from Ibini. Sydney will win the Premiers Plate if Victory lose against Perth tomorrow night.

36' CHANCE – Zullo gets to the byline, drives in a low ball, it falls to Grant in the six-yard box but his finish is blocked on the line. Brosque then blasts over from the edge of the area. Very close to a second goal.
34' Zullo attacks on the overlap down the left, he feeds Bobo but he gets himself into trouble. He gives it back out to Zullo, who’s first time cross is nearly met by Brosque at the back post but the Mariners head it clear. They look dangerous when they get numbers forward.

11' CHANCE - Brosque bursts through the middle of the Mariners defence from Ninkovic's backheel, but the shot is straight at Necevski. That would have been a brilliant goal. The shot just didn't have enough power.

8' GOAL SYDNEY - Zullo crosses in a delightful ball first time from the left channel and Holosko arrives on the back post to smash it into the net. Perfect start for the Sky Blues.
8' CHANCE - O'Donovan flicks the ball to the on-rushing Appiah, who brings it under control but shoots straight at Vukovic from a tight angle.
7' Sydney have established their dominance already. Mariners are playing on the counter.
5' Grant will be full of confidence after his maiden call-up to the Socceroos squad during the week. Sydney goalkeeper Danny Vukovic was also called up.
4' O'Neill loops a pass over to Grant in the box, who is just onside, but the right-back can't bring the ball down and get an effective shot off.
3' Grant plays a lovely diagonal ball to Buijs, who is still up from the corner. He cuts inside of the defender, takes a touch into the box, but blasts the ball way over the bar. Sydney with the first shot in anger.
