FC Pune City, after a disappointing start to the season, have notched back-to-back wins against ATK and Mumbai City FC. After a 4-1 hammering of ATK, Ranko Popovic's boys showed fantastic application to effect a 'come-from-behind' victory. Now, they will have their sights trained on scalping John Gregory's Chennaiyin FC.

Pune City have made no secret of their intention to qualify for the playoffs for the first time ever this time around and a strong start will be extremely important in order to realise that aim. Emiliano Alfaro has already scored four goals and will be their main threat. But assisting him in his endeavours will be the irrepressible Marcelinho and Diego Carlos who form a potent attacking trident.

Chennaiyin FC are coming off an extended period of rest following a 3-0 dismantling of NorthEast United FC. After the opening game debacle against FC Goa, the Supermachans seem to have found their mojo back, with Raphael Augusto and Gregory Nelson impressing in attack.

One of the major challenges on Popovic's hands will be to shackle Raphael Augusto who ran riot against NorthEast United FC in midfield.

It promises to be an interesting battle in Pune on Sunday!
