16th Finals

Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game! Until next time, goodbye!
Molde's next European outing sees them host Dundalk, while Arsenal welcome Rapid Vienna to the Emirates.
There goes the full-time whistle! Arsenal secure their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League with two games to spare after a scintillating second-half performance. Pepe found the top corner from a tight angle with a lovely strike and Nelson smashed home from close range, before Balogun scored his first senior goal off the bench to round off the scoring. It finishes 3-0 to Arsenal!
90' + 1' Molde are working the ball around now as they try to pull one back, but Arsenal press well and win it back high up the field. Pepe has a shot which is blocked, but it comes off the referee and back into the winger's path, causing a stoppage in the game.
89' Arsenal are looking slick in possession now and work it around nicely before Cedric sends it long for Balogun, who gets in behind, but the flag goes up. That was a tight call, but the right decision.
87' Arsenal's second-half performance will be of real encouragement to Arteta. They've looked comfortable at the back and dangerous going forward - and some of these young players may have made a case to be included in future Premier League starting line-ups.
E. Knudtzon
S. Gregersen
85' Gregersen departs for Knudtzon as Moe makes a desperate late attempt to change things for Molde.
E. Smith Rowe
83' Credit to Smith Rowe as well, who got into a good position and showed composure to square a neat ball to the striker rather than shooting from a tight angle.
F. Balogun
83' GOAL!!! BALOGUN HAS HIS FIRST GOAL FOR ARSENAL!! On just his second appearance for the club and his first involvement in the game, he's found the net! Fellow substitute Smith Rowe gets into the box on the left and squares to the striker, who swivels and smashes a low shot down the middle that goes in off the goalkeeper! It's 3-0 to Arsenal!
F. Balogun
E. Nketiah
82' Meanwhile, Arteta brings young striker Balogun on for second-ever senior Arsenal appearance, with Nketiah making way.
M. Pedersen
B. Risa
82' Left-back Risa is also coming off for Molde, with Pedersen taking his place.
O. Brynhildsen
M. Eikrem
81' Moe makes another pair of changes, with Eikrem replaced by Brynhildsen as Molde chase the game.
79' Arsenal have now scored at least once in each of their last 20 matches in major European competition (45 goals in total); they’ve only had a longer run once – 21 games between October 2003 and November 2005.
77' OVER! Bolly cuts in from the left and strikes a fierce effort across goal from the edge of the box, but it rises just over the bar! Runarsson wasn't getting there if it had been a little lower!
E. Smith Rowe
A. Lacazette
75' Lacazette is the second player to depart, and he trudges off to allow a more natural attacking midfielder in Smith Rowe to enter the fray.
K. Tierney
J. Willock
75' Arteta makes a double-change now, with the lively Willock coming off for a left-back in Tierney. The substitute will go out to the left side of defence, with Maitland-Niles moving into a midfield role.
73' Willock bursts forward with energy and purpose but he's set upon by a number of Molde defenders and can't get the pass away to release his team-mates, settling for a free-kick instead.
71' SAVE! Great save from Linde! A loose touch at the back allows Willock to win the ball and he plays it to Nketiah, who holds it up well with his back to goal before squaring for Lacazette to strike. The Frenchman catches it sweetly, but the goalkeeper is equal to it and pulls off a superb save!
69' The tempo of the game has slowed somewhat over the last few minutes. Neither side has been able to craft a clear-cut chance and passages of play are getting bogged down in midfield.
67' Nketiah finds a yard of space and fancies his chances, but the strike is charged down and Molde clear.
65' Wingo tries his luck from distance, but it's a speculative effort that's blocked away comfortably.
64' Molde have showed a little more spirit and aggression in the last few minutes, committing a few more bodies forward and asking more questions of the Arsenal defence.
Dani Ceballos
G. Xhaka
62' Meanwhile, Arteta makes a switch in midfield as Xhaka is replaced by Ceballos.
O. Omoijuanfo
L. James
61' Star striker James is also taken off, with Omoijuanfo replacing him up front.
M. Bolly
E. Hussain
61' Moe makes a double-change as his side chase the game, with Hussain coming off for Bolly in the first substitution.
59' There's a scare at the back for Arsenal as they try to play out from the back and Holding is caught in possession, forcing Runarsson to rush out and gather as the defender shields it.
57' OVER! Pepe lofts a superb cross in from the right for Nketiah, who rises - unmarked - to head at goal, but he gets under the ball and glances over the bar!
J. Willock
55' Willock did superbly to burst down the right from midfield, and his low cross had plenty of pace and was in a really dangerous area for Nelson to smash into the top corner.
R. Nelson
55' GOAL!!! NELSON DOUBLES ARSENAL'S LEAD!! Willock surges down the right and sends a driven, low cross into the middle where Nelson nips in to fire home from close range! It's 2-0 to Arsenal now!
53' NO GOAL! Pepe cuts in again but this time squares for Lacazette. The striker lets it run and Maitland-Niles has a shot from the left that Linde spills, and Nketiah is in the right place to tuck it away! The flag soon goes up for offside against the young striker, however.
J. Willock
50' Willock did superbly to burst forward from midfield and produced a fine cross from the left to find Pepe in a dangerous position in the box.
N. Pépé
50' GOAL!!! PEPE PUTS ARSENAL IN FRONT!! It's a lovely strike from Arsenal's record signing! A left-wing cross from Willock finds him on the right side of the box and he takes one touch to control it before curling a vicious strike right into the top-left corner from a tight angle despite a touch from Linde! It's 1-0 to Arsenal! That will be a real relief for the Ivorian after his sending-off against Leeds.
48' CROSSBAR! What a strike from Pepe! He cuts in from the right again and catches his strike really sweetly this time, sending it arrowing towards the top-left corner, but it pings back off the underside of the bar and stays out!
46' We're back underway for the second half!
R. Holding
David Luiz
46' Arteta makes a half-time change, with Holding coming on for David Luiz, who presumably picked up a knock.
It's been a relatively even game so far in Norway. Arsenal have edged the possession and shooting stats, but Molde have threatened plenty on the counter-attack. No signs of this being a repeat of the 4-1 drubbing Arsenal dished out in the reverse fixture.
There goes the half-time whistle! Arsenal edged the first half but the best chance fell Molde's way, with Sinyan failing to tap into an empty net from just a couple of yards out. Nelson has been Arsenal's brightest player so far, fashioning a good portion of the Gunners' opportunities, but neither side has been able to break the deadlock. It's 0-0 at half-time.
45' Runarsson charges out of his box to deal with a long ball forward, but misjudges it and it bounces under him and runs behind! Thankfully for Arsenal, Maitland-Niles is back to cover and clears his lines!
43' CHANCE! Fantastic defensive header from Sinyan as Nelson storms down the left, does a few stepovers to work a yard and cuts back onto his right before crossing into the middle for Nketiah, but the Molde centre-back gets it away!
42' BLOCK! Eikrem smacks a fierce effort at goal from the edge of the box, but Xhaka throws himself in the way to block!
41' OVER! Wingo finds himself in the box on the right and goes for goal, but he gets under the effort and floats it over the bar!
40' WIDE! Nelson cuts in from the left and fires a sweetly-struck effort towards the top-right corner, but it's just the wrong side of the post!
38' Molde press really high as Mustafi plays it back to Runarsson, but Arsenal just manage to work it out from the back and Cedric draws a foul.
36' Nelson gets into the box and is fed by Lacazette. He's completely surrounded by defenders and does well to keep the ball before going down, but a free-kick is given Molde's way, presumably for a stray arm from the winger as he sought to hold off his markers.
34' Hestad puts a fantastic ball in from the left, but James doesn't attack it with any conviction and the ball sails harmlessly through the danger zone.
32' Pepe charges down the right and looks up, but has to wait for support. He and Lacazette play the ball between themselves on the edge of the box before Nketiah takes over and ties to curl one in from distance, but it's a comfortable save for Linde.
30' There's a clash of heads in the area between Sinyan and David Luiz, forcing the game to be stopped briefly. Thankfully, both players appear to be fine and will carry on.
28' WIDE! A lovely cross from the left reaches the back post where Hestad tries to prod it home, but Maitland-Niles gets in the way to turn it just past the post!
27' Arsenal miss a good chance to break as Pepe's run in behind is ignored by Lacazette in favour of Nketiah, who had strayed into an offside position.
25' Cedric swings a high cross in from the right towards Nketiah, but Linde comes out to claim the ball in the air. He fumbles it the first time, but eventually gathers the loose ball.
23' Arsenal have looked bright, particularly down their left side, and are enjoying a positive spell. Molde still pose a threat on the counter, however.
21' CLOSE! Arsenal counter quickly and Xhaka finds Pepe on the right. The Ivorian cuts inside onto his favoured left foot and goes for the top-left corner, but it's just too high!
19' OVER! Arsenal win another corner which Pepe swings into the box where Luiz meets it, but the Brazilian sends his header high and wide.
17' SAVE! Pepe cuts in from the right and goes for goal from just outside the box, but it's a little too central and Linde saves and holds on. He needed to make that stick as Nketiah and Lacazette were lurking.
15' WHAT A CHANCE! How are Molde not ahead?! Eikrem plays the ball down the left for Hestad, who fizzes the ball across goal for Sinyan to tap it in from a couple of yards out, but somehow he sends it back across goal where Runarsson keeps it out!
13' SAVE! Nelson and Lacazette play a neat one-two on the left side of the box, with the latter slipping the former into the area. Nelson goes for the near post, but Linde makes the save! The build-up was sharp there.
12' OVER! Maitland-Niles slips the ball out to the right and the cross is floated to the back post where Pepe attempts an audacious outside-of-the-boot volley, but he sends it high over the bar.
11' Maitland-Niles and Nelson link up smoothly down the left as they progress the ball forward and win a corner. The pair have started brightly.
9' A quick pass down the line gives Pepe the chance to run at his man and cut inside, but a slightly loose touch allows his marker to nip in and clear the ball away.
7' Eikrem whips a dangerous ball into the middle from a deeper position, but nobody is able to latch onto it and the danger is seen away by the Gunners.
5' Arteta appears to be experimenting with Lacazette as a number 10 tonight. The Frenchman is dropping off the front and looking to link play between the lines in the early stages, but he does push back up alongside Nketiah to press when Arsenal don't have the ball.
3' SAVE! Nelson drives positively down the left and gets to the byline in the box before laying it back to Maitland-Niles, who dinks a cross towards the back post that Linde has to turn over the bar! It looked like it was heading in!
1' We're underway in Norway!
However, Arsenal have only been beaten once in their last 14 away games in the group stages of a major European competition (W10 D3), against FC Koln in November 2017 in the only game they’ve failed to score in during this run.
Molde had won three Europa League matches in a row before Arsenal beat them 4-1 in the reverse fixture earlier this month – they haven’t lost consecutive matches in the competition since a run of a three games in October/November 2012.
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta makes sweeping changes following the 0-0 draw against Leeds United in their last outing. Only Willock, Xhaka and Pepe keep their places, with the latter given an immediate shot at redemption following his straight red card in that game.
Molde manager Erling Moe makes two changes from his side's 3-0 win over Stabaek in their last league game. Bynhildsen drops to the bench, but defender Martin Bjornbak misses out through injury. Hestad and Gregersen take their places in the starting line-up.
Arsenal substitutes: Rob Holding, Hector Bellerin, Folarin Balogun, Dani Ceballos, Matt Macey, Miguel Azeez, Ben Cottrell, Kieran Tierney, Emile Smith Rowe, Karl Hein.
Arsenal XI (4-4-2): Runar Alex Runarsson; Cedric Soares, Shkodran Mustafi, David Luiz, Ainsley Maitland-Niles; Nicolas Pepe, Joe Willock, Granit Xhaka, Reiss Nelson; Eddie Nketiah, Alexandre Lacazette.
Molde substitutes: Ola Brynhildsen, Mattias Mostrom, Tobias Christensen, Alex Craninx, Mathias Eriksen Ranmark, Marcus Holmgren Pedersen, Ohikhuaeme Omoijuanfo, Erling Knudtzon, Mathis Bolly.
Molde XI (4-2-3-1): Andreas Linde; Henry Wingo, Sheriff Sinyan, Stian Gregersen, Birk Risa; Fredrik Aursnes, Etzaz Hussain; Eirik Hestad, Magnus Wolff Eikrem, Martin Ellingsen; Leke James.
Arsenal have the opportunity to put themselves in pole position in their Europa League group if they can secure victory over nearest challengers Molde tonight, having won all three of their games so far.
