Commentary

FULL TIME - The final whiste sounds with Melbourne Victory just about guaranteed a top two finish after defeating a game Perth Glory 4-1. It was a game played at a frenetic pace and it was one of the best games of the season with the scoreline not reflective of Perth Glory's contribution to the contest. But to the winner go the spoils and Perth Glory will need to regroup for a clash with Sydney FC in a fortnight.
90' + 3' Risdon curls a ball in dangerously with Taggart getting there second to Thomas who lays claims to the ball.

HALF TIME - The referee calls an end to proceedings with the Perth Glory camp furious. It was end to end attacking play from both sides and it was an absolute pleasure to witness. At half-time it's Victory coming from behind to lead 2-1.

42' GOAL VICTORY - A magnificent ball in by Berisha is headed by Ben Khalfallah on his return to the team and Melbourne Victory lead 2-1.

38' Rojas fires the free kick into the box. It's an awkward one for Reddy but he has it under control.
36' Perth Glory coach Lowe has just had the privilege of a free conversation with the referee. Another chat like that and he will be sent off like he was at the same ground against Melbourne City.

3' The free kick is sent into the box but it's off the head of Warren and out for a throw in.
2' Glory are under the pump in the early stages with two fouls in favour of the Victory.
