FULL TIME: MACARTHUR FC 1 MELBOURNE CITY 1 - A frenetic and thrilling finish at Campbelltown Stadium however, after 90 minutes, the two sides could not be separated.  On top in general play, Melbourne City looked to be in control when Connor Metcalfe struck just before the hour mark.  However, an error at the back from the visitors let in Michael Ruhs for the equaliser to set up a thrilling finale.  Both sides created late opportunities but ultimately neither side was able to break the deadlock.

Clear in top spot with a game in hand, Melbourne City are in white-hot form having recorded eight wins from their past ten matches.  Last week they blew cross-city rivals Melbourne Victory off the park, recording a 7-0 victory with the A-League's top goal scorer, Jamie Maclaren, finding the net five times.
It's been a lean couple of weeks for fifth-placed Macarthur FC who have recorded a draw and two losses from their previous three fixtures.  Last week, they were in a good position at half time to put away the bottom-placed Jets however in the end had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
