The Brazilian teenager signed for Real Madrid last year, but will not join Los Blancos until the end of the 2018-19 season, because he needs to be 18 for an international transfer to be completed. The young Flamengo forward scored seven times as Brazil won the U-17 South American Championship last year and he was named as the tournament's best player. Real Madrid have high hopes for him.

<p>Mohamed Airam Ramos Wade, better known as Moha, is a goalkeeper with a bright future at Real Madrid. The Tenerife-born shot-stopper, who will be 18 next month, has already been training with the first team following the injury to Luca Zidane and the coaching staff are very impressed. Moha saved three penalties in the Youth League against Krasnodar in a shootout in February. He is tall (1.90m), agile and has impressive reflexes. Definitely an option for the future at Real.</p>

Son of a former Sevilla and Sporting Gijon player, Juanmi Gelabert, Cesar is one of the most promising teenagers at Real Madrid. The 17-year-old can play as a central midfielder, a winger, a support striker or as a false nine. He has excellent technical ability and an eye for a final ball, as well as a good goalscoring record. He is currently playing for the Juvenil A side under former Madrid midfielder Guti and that experience should further aid his development.

Another midfielder playing under Guti in Real Madrid's Juvenil A side, Miguel Baeza is a player known for his tactical awareness. Elegant on the ball and with a good understanding of the game, the youngster (who has just turned 18) can play centrally or on the wing and also boasts a powerful left foot.

There is no shortage of midfield talent at Real Madrid and Oscar Rodriguez is another exciting young player emerging through the ranks. The 19-year-old plays for the club's B team, Castilla, and appeared for the senior side in the Copa del Rey against Fuenlabrada earlier on in the campaign. The midfielder, who is physically strong and likes to get into the opposition box, also linked up with Zinedine Zidane's squad in pre-season.

Francisco Feuillassier, better known as Franchu, is an Argentine winger impressing under his compatriot Santiago Solari at Castilla. Discovered by former player Juan Esnaider, the 19-year-old was let go by Los Blancos at a younger age but returned after starring across the city with Rayo Vallecano. He has been nicknamed "Real Madrid's Messi" due to his trickery and because he shares the same nationality with Barcelona's brilliant forward.

Dani Gomez is a 19-year-old centre-forward who describes himself as "explosive, fast and a killer in the area". The striker took part in Real Madrid's pre-season programme with the first team in the United States last summer and impressed in the Youth League earlier this term, with seven goals in his five appearances. He will hope to step up to the senior squad on a regular basis in 2018-19.

A 19-year-old central midfielder with Castilla, Martin Calderon is tall and physically strong, with a powerful shot. A youth international with Spain at U-17, U-18 and U-19 level, the youngster is also known for his work-rate and ability to cover the pitch. He is good in the air, strong at winning back position and can also pull the strings in midfield.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Still only 19 but now a full Uruguay international, Fede Valverde is a midfielder with a bright future. The former Penarol player scored on his international debut against Paraguay and despite a season of ups and downs on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, he still hopes to go to the World Cup this summer. Valverde can play anywhere across the midfield, as a support striker or even at centre-back. He is known for his good tactical understanding despite his young age.

Once nicknamed "Norwegian Messi", Martin Odegaard's career has not taken off as expected. The youngster had his pick of Europe's top teams in 2015, but opted to sign for Real Madrid as a 16-year-old and made his debut for the senior side as he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in the last league game of the season, against Getafe. However, he was then sent on loan to Heerenveen for a year and a half and, now in his second season in the Netherlands, there are big question marks over whether he will make it at the highest level. Still only 19, however, he has time on his side.
