Zoo FC were the meanest club in the just closed Kenyan Premier League transfer window.

The Kericho based side brought on board just four new players in place of the five who left the club at the end of 2017 season.

Zoo who will kick off the new season with a clash against Ulinzi Stars, another mean side, signed goalkeepers, Daniel Kiptoo from Chemelil Sugar and Martin Elung'at, formally of Muhoroni Youth and Thika United.

Others are right back, Silas Shihemi and striker, Deric Anami who were both promoted from Junior rank.

Zoo also got a boost with the return to action of striker, Dominic Kiprono and midfielder, Gilbert Ayieko who are back from Injury while Frank Koko was recalled from loan.

A total of 210 players switched clubs in the transfer window that shut down at the midnight of January 31, 2018. Nakumatt FC and Kakamega Homeboyz were the busiest sides in the window.

Meanwhile, Nakumatt made up for the 18 players they lost by bringing on board 17 new players, while their counterparts Homeboyz signed 18 players and released 14.

Seventeen players have made moves abroad from Kenyan clubs. Of the seventeen, three are of Kenyan nationality.

Masud Juma has made a move to Capetown City (South Africa) from Kariobangi Sharks while Gor Mahia duo of Kenneth Muguna and Musa Mohammed have joined KF Tirana in Albania.
