'We want to win the competition' – Oyenuga targets Copa Coca-Cola glory

Tolulope Oyenuga has set his sights on Copa Coca-Cola glory as Keme Balogun College prepare for the competition’s regional finals.

The striker’s hat-trick saw off Coker Junior Secondary School 3-2 to lift the 2017 Copa Coca-Cola for Lagos State – and was named as Most Valuable Player.

He has stressed Keme will not underestimate their opponents and insists they should always aim to go all the way till they conquer Nigeria.

“No one gave us a chance to be champions of Lagos, but we put in our best and we are proud of ourselves,” Oyenuga told Goal.

"Everyone expect to win the national final and with hardwork , we can do the impossible. Our coaches are good and they also believe in us.

"We want to win the competition and whoever we have to play against, wherever we have to travel, we want to make our school proud.’’

During the group stage, each region will be divided into groups from which a winner will emerge from the tournament sequential structure for the next round. The final stage is the National Finals, which would be hosted in Lagos, with the grand finale played also in Lagos.
