The east African side's gaffer is aware of the importance of the clash but claims her side is aiming for nothing short of a win

Ethiopia U17 women head coach Salem Zarey says her side are aiming for victory at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium as they face Nigeria on Saturday.

The east Africans are in Benin City for the first round, second leg qualifier clash with the Flamingoes after they forced a 1-1 draw a fortnight ago in Addis Ababa.

Zarey's ladies are seeking to reach the final qualifying round for the first time but must subdue Bala Nikyu's side to edge closer for their debut World Cup appearance.

"We have a dream coming here to play Nigeria. We are aware it will not be easy," Zarey told Goal.

"But I have great confidence in my team. We have a lot of talented and young girls. So we will see the result tomorrow (Saturday).

"This game is very important to us as we are dreaming to qualify for the World Cup and I'm hoping the players play to instructions and execute our game plans well.

However, she expressed worries over the unfriendly weather, saying: "We are not scared of Nigeria but the weather he is not good for us but we will do out best."
