Wa All Stars chief executive officer Oduro Nyarko says difficulty in blending old and new players is the cause of their poor showing in the Ghana Premier League this season.
The 2015-16 champions are enduring a rather tough time this campaign, having won just one game, drawn four times and lost six of 11 matches played thus far.
Their underwhelming show has left them rock bottom of the table.
“As an administrator, if you do everything to make sure your team gets better and the results don't come, it becomes frustrating” Oduro told Oyerepa FM.
“The basic thing is that, the strength of our team has gone down because as many as eight or nine core players have left.
“If as a team you have eight to nine players leaving and you bring in new ones, it will be difficult for them to blend. That’s the basic problem we are having.
“All is not lost. We are working around the clock to make sure we get things working again.”
All Stars, who drew 1-1 with Wafa on Sunday, next play away to 20-time champions Hearts of Oak.
The Northern Blues finished sixth last season after the title triumph in 2016.
