Paul Pogba was as guilty as anybody at Manchester United in 2016-17 of failing to make the most of opportunities which came their way.
Having returned to Old Trafford in a record-breaking £89 million transfer, the Frenchman could only muster nine goals across his first campaign back in English football.
He had broken into double figures for Juventus in his final two seasons in Turin, while he has netted twice for his country in 2018 World Cup qualification.
United will be hoping there is a greater contribution to come from the midfielder in 2017-18, with Pogba having shown while away training with his country that he does possess lethal finishing skills.

One with his head and three volleys – Pogba shows that he is capable of mixing it up.
It is, of course, an entirely different matter producing such finishes in the heat of competitive action than it is making the net bulge in training.
Pogba found his composure in front of goal lacking at times this season, but belief and confidence will be built the more times he finds the target.
