The next Ronaldo!? Dortmund wonderkid Moukoko celebrates title-clinching strike in CR7’s style

Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko enhanced his burgeoning reputation on Sunday by scoring the winner as his side claimed the German Under-17 championship – and the forward marked the occasion by celebrating in the style of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 13-year-old has caught headlines over the course of the season for his incredible achievements with BVB’s youth teams, playing several age categories up from where he would normally be expected to play.

And on Sunday he was once again Dortmund’s hero as they claimed a dramatic 3-2 success over their great rivals Bayern Munich.

Immanuel Pherai gave BVB the lead midway through the first half but Joshua Zirkee, who was sent off along with Dortmund’s Samuel Ors, levelled matters five minutes later.

Early in the second half, Pherai netted again for Dortmund but again it was rapidly cancelled out, with Jahn Herrmann levelling.

With four minutes left, however, Moukoko stepped forward to snatch what proved the winner before marking the event in a style familiar to football fans all over the world.

Born in Cameroon, he scored 37 times as his side won the B-Junioren Bundesliga West after arriving from St Pauli in 2017.

BVB have a number of young guns breaking into their senior squad currently, with Christian Pulisic joined by the likes of Dan-Axel Zagadou, Jadon Sancho and Alexander Isak.
