This season, Hyundai are celebrating Europe’s most dedicated and passionate football fans.
Over the course of the 2018/19 season, the competition will reward those fans that share their best tales of how they have gone The Extra Mile.
January saw Chelsea fan Adam Walczak scoop the prize for a stunning 30 years of dedicated support, which have seen him take in over 1,000 matches and 19 countries.
And this month there was another worthy winner.
Eight-year-old Beth is a loyal Chelsea fan who has not yet had the chance to watch her team play live, but then this youngster has never let anything stand in the way of her love of the game.
With no girls’ teams in her local area, she joined a boys’ team to pursue her ambition of one day playing for Chelsea Women.
And Hyundai recognised her spirit with a trip to meet the Chelsea players at their training ground and, of course, taking her to see her beloved Blues live.
‘The Extra Mile’ campaign sees football fans from across its European club partners encouraged to submit stories explaining the lengths that they go to when following their favourite team.
Monthly winners will be rewarded with club prizes, ranging from match tickets to club merchandise.
At the end of the current season, one overall winner from each of Hyundai’s partner clubs will be selected to join a special trip taking in matches at Chelsea, AS Roma, Atletico Madrid and Hertha Berlin.
