Syam Ben Youssef rescues Kasimpasa vs. Osmanlispor

Syam Ben Youssef scored Kasimpasa's equaliser as they came from behind to register a 1-1 draw with Osmalispor on Saturday.

Following their 3-2 loss to Kayserispor last Saturday, the Apaches, again, could not secure their ninth win of the season as Irfan Buz’s men earned a vital away point to boost their relegation fight.

Osmanlispor’s Payam Sadeghian opened the scoring at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium from the penalty spot in the 37th minute.

Kasimpasa African attacking trio of Mahmoud Trezeguet, Mbaye Diagne and Bernard Mensah struggled to find the decisive goal after the restart as both sides settled for a share of the spoils.

Ben Youssef's partner in the heart of the defence, Kenneth Omeruo played for the entire duration but the Nigeria international was cautioned in the 79th minute – his second in the league this season - while compatriot Emem Eduok was introduced for Ghana's Mensah in the 89th minute.

Kasimpasa dropped to the 12th spot in the Turkish Super Lig log with 30 points from 24 matches so far.

They visit eighth-placed Sivasspor for their next league game on March 10.
