Mamelodi Sundowns are set to take on SAB League outfit Mariveni United in the Nedbank Cup round of 32 clash.

The Brazilians will go into this encounter wounded following their PSL defeat to Cape Town City on Friday night.

According to the Sundowns website, the team could be boosted by the possible return of their influential talisman, Khama Billiat.

The Zimbabwean has been out of action since he scored the winning goal against Platinum Stars almost two weeks ago.

Sundowns head coach Mosimane may choose to unleash him against little-known Mariveni.

Mosimane has admitted that his side will go into the match completely blind.

“I tried to see what they are doing there, but there has been rain and their games have been called off lately,” Mosimane told The Star.

“This is the blindest I have ever been. It’s okay. We shouldn’t have an excuse because sometimes we play Caf Champions League games, where we don’t have the footage of the opposition,” Mosimane concluded.
