Stiff competition expected in Tusker's goalkeeping department

There will be stiff competition in Tusker’s goalkeeping department following the acquisition of Robert Mboya.

Mboya joined the Brewers from Mathare United to take to four, the number of goalkeepers, who will be fighting for a place in the starting berth.

The list includes veteran Duncan Ochieng', reigning Kenyan Premier League Golden Glove winner Patrick Matasi, who joined from Posta Rangers and David Okello.

Unlike the previous years where Tusker have been having three goalkeepers, this time around Robert Matano will have one more option to pick from.

David Juma joined Tusker from former Matano club, Bidco United while Faraj Ominde and Kennedy Odhiambo moved to the capital city from Chemelil Sugar and Sony Sugar respectively.

Other signings include David Gateri, Oliver Maloba, John Kamau, Jimmy Kulaba from Uganda’s URA and Mboya, who swapped places with David Okello from Mathare United.
