Kenyan Premier League side, Sofapaka beat Spitfire 4-1 in a friendly played on Wednesday.

Spitfire held Batoto Ba Mungu to a 1-1 draw in the first half before a double strike by Ezekiel Okare put the match beyond their reach.

Humphrey Okoti scored an own goal against his team to level things for Spitfire after Hansel Ochieng had given Sofapaka the lead, but Brian Magonya and Okare made amends in the second period to give Sofapaka a deserved win.

Sofapaka coach Sam Ssimbwa used the friendly to gauge his squad ahead of weekend’s KPL match against hosts Thika United at Thika Municipal Stadium on Sunday. Sofapaka is going to the weekend clash with heads down after losing their last league game 2-1 to Nakumatt FC.
