Sofapaka picked maximum points against Tusker last time out after pulling a 4-3 win in a seven-goal thriller
Sofapaka goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya is a serious doubt ahead of Sunday’s Kenyan Premier League match against Tusker.

Kasaya, who moved to Sofapaka in June, is nursing an injury that could rule him out of the crunch match that will see Batoto Ba Mungu tactician John Baraza face off with his former coach Robert Matano.

"Goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya is the only player, who is not available for selection on Sunday as he is nursing a hamstring injury,” the club announced on its official website.

The Kenyan international suffered an injury in a defeat against Sony Sugar away in Awendo, two weeks ago.

Baraza will, however, draw strength from the availability of Ugandan striker Umaru Kasumba.

Kasumba has been missing in action for more than a month after suffering a groin injury during a league match against Wazito in June.

Sofapaka picked maximum points from Tusker in the last encounter after pulling a 4-3 win in a seven-goal thriller.

Sofapaka, who will be looking to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to Sony Sugar, are second on the log with 40 points while Tusker are eight places and 10 points behind them.
