Former Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou has well and truly brought some attacking flair to the J-League with his Yokohama F.Marinos side playing out a thrilling 4-4 draw with Shonan.
After a six-goal first half which saw Marinos striker Hugo Viera bag a hat-trick, Australian defender Milos Degenek would have the final say of the game as he headed home from close range in the 57th minute to ensure the points were shared.
Degenek has become a regular under Postecoglou and has now scored his first goal for the club after 38 appearances.
The result sees Marinos edge up to 14th in the J-League level on points with Shonan, who sit a place above on goal difference.
It's been a busy and ultimately difficult few weeks for Postecoglou's side, who have played five games in 13 days without managing a win.
Prior to that however they had won three straight with the Australian manager forced to quickly come to grips with the heavy demands of football in Japan.
Degenek and Postecoglou will next be in action on April 25 as they face fourth-placed Consadole in the J-League.
