Jackson Irvine has continued his fine form for Hull City, scoring his side's second goal in a 2-0 win over Ipswich Town.
The Socceroos midfielder was introduced in the 69th minute and sealed the win 20 minutes later finishing low past the keeper after muscling past a defender and latching onto a lobbed through ball.
Irvine now has three goals from just four league appearances so far this season and has already equalled his goal tally from his last campaign.
Only once in his career has he in fact scored more than three goals in a season and that came in 2016/17 when he struck ten times for Burton Albion.
Elsewhere, Aziz Behich made his debut for PSV in a convincing 7-0 win for the reigning Eredivisie champions with the Australian introduced in the 79th minute as his new side put a further two goals past Ado Den Haag.
Mark Milligan also got his first taste of action for Scottish club Hibernian, coming on in the 73rd minute with Socceroos teammate Jamie Maclaren winning a penalty just minutes later which was duly converted by Florian Kamberi to hand Hibs a 3-2 win over Kilmarnock.
