‘Pray for Plateau’ – Leon Balogun, Ndidi call for peace and unity after Plateau killings

Residents in the North Central part of Nigeria are in grief after a bloody attack left tens of people dead

Nigeria internationals Leon Balogun and Wilfred Ndidi have urged for unity in Nigeria following herdsmen attack on Barkin Ladi, Mangu and Riyom local government areas in Plateau State.

According to local reports, at least 86 persons have been confirmed dead with several others injured and properties destroyed.

Six villages were attacked across the three local government areas in Plateau, leaving the State Government to impose a dusk-to-dawn curfew.

However, the Super Eagles players have taken time off their preparation for Tuesday's clash against Argentina, to rally for unity and prayers for peace in the North Central region of Nigeria.
