Squads & Team News

Milutin Sredojevic, Orlando Pirates, November 2018

The Buccaneers will remain at the top of the table if they secure a win over a struggling Maritzburg side.

Midfielder Ben Motshwari is expected to make his return from injury, while winger Luvuyo Memela is out nursing a long-term injury and goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo has recovered from an ankle injury.

Pirates' Zambian forwards Augustine Mulenga and Justin Shonga scored in midweek and they will be keen to inspire Milutin Sredojevic's side to victory.

Potential Pirates XI: Mabokgwane, Mbekile, Maela, Jele, Munetsi, Mlambo, Nyatama, Lorch, Pule, Mulenga, Shonga.

Meanwhile, Maritzburg extended their winless run to four matches in all competitions when they drew 0-0 with Chippa United at home in a league game in midweek.

As a result, the Team of Choice are placed 15th on the league standings having accumulated nine points from 10 matches. They are three points behind 10th-placed Highlands Park.

The KwaZulu-Natal side will be desperate for a victory which would see them move out of the relegation zone.

Potential Maritzburg XI: Ofori, Onyango, De Reuck, Xulu, Makaringe, Ndlovu, Mekoa, Kunene, Figuaredo, Zakri, Mokate.
