The first leg will be played on October 21 with the second leg set for seven days later. Ushuru finished third after drawing with Bidco United, while Nairobi Stima fell to the already promoted KCB.

As a result the taxmen finished the season in the third position with sixty nine points, one more than the power men who finished fourth.
A coin will be tossed on October 16 to determine the team that will be hosts in the first leg. The winner of the two-legged matches will play in the Kenyan Premier League next season with the loser playing in the National Super League.
