Nigeria's Ebere Orji rescues point for Umea at Assi

Ebere Orji scored her sixth goal of the season as Umea held Assi to a 1-1 draw in an Elitettan encounter on Saturday.

The 26-year-old forward, who was making her seventh league appearance of the season, struck in the 68th minute to cancel out Sanna Yliantilla's opener.
 
After a goalless first half, Yliantilla broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 62nd minute before Ebere's strike rescued the point for Robert Bergström's ladies.

The Nigeria international was in action for the duration of the match, and Umea are second on the log on goal difference with 19 points from seven games.

On the other hand, Ghana's Ernestina Abambila made her debut for Assi as a substitute in the 62nd minute, while Christy Ucheibe was on parade for the last 20 minutes.

Assi, who are 10th with six points will be guest to Brommapojkarna on Thursday, while Umea will visit Moron a day earlier.
