The Guinea starlet continues to attract interest as his fine Bundesliga form shows no sign of stopping

Naby Keita and RasenBallsport Leipzig saw their title dreams fade once more this weekend as Augsburg snatched a 2-2 draw at the WWK Arena in a Bundesliga match on Friday.

Augsburg’s Konstantino Stafylidis opened the scoring for the hosts, but strikes from Timo Werner in the first half and Marvin Compper in the second saw the title-chasing Bundesliga newcomers fight back and manage to take the lead.

With Leipzig looking poised to clinch all three points, they were pegged back on the hour mark when Martin Hinteregger equalised for the Fuggerstadter.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side are now seven points behind leaders Bayern Munich although they also maintain a six-point lead over third-placed Borussia Dortmund.

Guinean midfielder Keita has been one of the side's driving forces and also featured throughout the encounter on Friday, contributing an assist.

The 22-year-old has also attracted interest from a number of sides across Europe, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain all understood to be interested in his services.

Leipzig have maintained that the Conakry-born sensation is not for sale, but it remains to be seen if they will be able to fend off interest in him by some of the game's major names.

Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid have also been reported to have joined the race for his capture.
