Former Ulinzi Stars Captain, Stephen Ocholla has been appointed the club’s Team Manager.
His appointment takes to three new faces at Ulinzi Stars technical bench that is headed by the newly appointed coach Dunstan Nyaudo.
Nyaudo replaced Benjamin Nyangweso who led the team in 2017 season and he will be joined by another rookie in the technical bench, former defender James Mulinge.
Mulinge has been elevated to the position of Assistant Coach and Trainer while former Kenyan international goalkeeper, Francis Onyiso retained his roles as the Goalkeeper’s Coach.
Even with not much experience as the head coach, Nyaudo is still optimistic of guide the Soldiers to a better finish than seventh place managed last season.
“As the technical staff, and with the support of everyone else at the club, I believe we will do better in the coming campaign,” Nyaudo told the club website.
“If you look at Ocholla, Mulinge and Onyiso, they are all people who have contributed immensely to the growth of football in this country. They are all former internationals, former Ulinzi players and are all licensed coaches so they have a role towards running Ulinzi Stars as a professional outfit and as the head coach I’m really confident in their capabilities.
Ulinzi are set to host Zoo FC in the first match on Saturday at Afraha Stadium.
