Levante manager Paco Lopez has ruled out a January move away for out-of-favour Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena.
The 23-year-old is enduring a frustrating time at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia, having made only three appearances in the Spanish La Liga - all substitute outings - since transferring from Swiss side FC Zurich in the summer.
With opportunities far and few between, there have been rumours that the centre-forward could be headed for the exit, possibly on loan.
"At the moment, he has not considered a departure," Lopez said, as reported by Marca.
"He is very loved in the dressing room. He works very well and he knows he has a point of improvement when it comes to understanding the game.
"He is a fantastic boy on a day-to-day basis.
"He has physicality but other aspects of his game have to improve.
"Of the situation he finds himself in, everyone wants to play."
On Thursday, Dwamena undoubtedly made his biggest push for a first league start as he netted in a 2-0 triumph over lower tier outfit Lugo in the Spanish Cup.
It was his first ever goal for The Frogs, the appearance his second start in all competitions.
"The most positive thing is that people who play less had minutes," Lopez said of the cup triumph.
"It was not easy for them, but they have done very well."
The Ghanaian is hoping to be rewarded with his first La Liga start in Sunday's away clash with Eibar.
His limited playing time at club has had a toll on his international career, having been overlooked by Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah since a disappointing performance against Kenya in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in September.
