KPL transfers: Wazito FC unveils four new signings

Wazito FC have signed four players to bolster the squad as the second leg of the Kenya Premier League gets underway.

The signings, a mix of young promising and seasoned players is part of the strategy towards building resilience and changing fortunes for the club.

Antony Njeru, a versatile midfielder has joined Wazito FC from KCB. Njeru, who has signed a three-year contract, has featured for KCB and U-23 Harambee Stars.

Another signing is Eric Ochieng’, a veteran of the midfield, who joins the club from KCB. He has previously played for Bandari FC, Gor Mahia and Sofapaka.

Ochieng’, who won the Kenya Premier League three times with Gor Mahia, has signed a one-year contract. Edwin Wanjala has also joined Wazito fraternity from Kangemi United.

He was on loan from Ushuru. He has also played for Nakumatt FC and Gor Mahia. He is comfortable playing both holding and attacking midfielder.

The other signing for Wazito is Zedrick Imbosa, who has signed a three year-contract from Green Commandos. He has also played for Nakuru All Stars and before that he was at Butere High School. At 24, he is comfortable as a center back as well as a holding midfielder.
