Mathare United have announced their first signing in the June transfer window.
The ‘Slum Boys’ have unveiled youthful goalkeeper Emmanuel Otieno, who joins the club as a replacement for Wycliffe Kasaya.
Kasaya left Mathara United at the start of the transfer window and has already signed for Sofapaka.
The club have confirmed in a statement, “Emmanuel Otieno becomes the first signing of the club during the mid-season transfer window. The 19-year-old custodian joins on a free transfer from Nairobi City Stars. He has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
“He comes in as a replacement for Wycliffe Kasaya who left the club following the expiry of his contract.”
