Kevin Omondi has been handed a starting role in the Gor Mahia squad to face Yanga in a Caf Confederation Cup match in Tanzania.

Goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch is back between the sticks as Shaban Odhoji drops to the bench while Joash Onyango replaces Charles Momanyi at the centre-back as Samuel Onyango too gets a place in the starting team.

Gor Mahia are second in Group D with five points, two behind USM Alger, who will be hosting Rayon Sports in another Group D match. A win for Gor Mahia will take them to eight points, a great step towards the quarter final's journey.
